Travel Nepal: Festivals, Libraries, and Landscapes!

Every spring, at the palace in Lo Manthang, there is a colorful Buddhist festival called Tiji, hosted by the Crown Prince of Mustang. This year not only will you visit the Lo Manthang for Tiji, but visit the first READ Library in the entire area of Upper Mustang. This library is a model of collaboration among the local people, READ, the Anapurna Conservation Fund, the American Himalayan Society, the John Sanday Foundation, and many private donors from inside and outside Nepal.
